MUKHTAR ILIYASU UMAR (DIRECTOR PLANNING, RESEARCH AND STATISTICS)
Mukhtar Iliyasu Umar hail from Kano State, he possesses Bachelor Degree in Botany and Post Graduate Diploma in Public Policy and Administration from Bayero University, Kano in the year 1991 and 2007 respectively.
He started his career as Admin Officer II GLO8 with National Commission for Refugees in 1993 and rose through the ranks to the post of Director (Admin) GL.17
During his career in the Federal Civil Service, he served with various Federal Ministries and Agencies which include: Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (Housing & Maintenance Dept), NEPAD-Nigeria, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (States and Local Government Affairs Dept), Ministry of Special Duties and Inter Governmental Affairs, NAPEP (Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Department), Federal Ministry of Water Resources (PRS Department), State House (Office of the Vice President),Federal Ministry of Aviation (PRS Department), Federal Ministry of Finance (Home Finance Department), Ministry of Defence (Military Pension Board), Federal Ministry of Transportation (Reform Coordination and Service Improvement Department), and now Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development as Director Planning, Research and Statistics (PRS).
