MR. AMIOLEMEN OSAGIE MARCUS (DIRECTOR INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY)
Mr. Amiolemen Osagie Marcus was born on the 19th of March, 1974 in Ujemen Ekpoma, Esan West LGA of Edo State.
He attended Ujemen Primary School from 1977 – 1983 and Ujeolen Grammar School where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate and West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) Certificate too in 1989.
He obtained his BSc Hons (Computer Science) from the University of Benin, Benin City in 1998 and MSc (Information Technology) from the National Open University of Nigeria in 2010.
Mr. Amiolemen Osagie Marcus started his Civil Service career with Voice of Nigeria in 2003 as a Network Administrator. He transferred his Service to the main stream Federal Civil Service in the Federal Ministry of Information and Communication in 2009 as a Principal Programme Analyst.
In year 2018, he was promoted to the post of Assistant Director, Programme Analyst and transferred to the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing. In 2023 he got promoted to the post of a Deputy Director and again posted to head the ICT Department in the Federal Ministry of Housing and Urban Development.
Mr. Amiolemen Marcus is a member of the Nigerian Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN), Member, Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) and a Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP). He also has other professional Certificates in Network Engineering and Management, Cisco and Network Security obtained both within and outside the country.
Mr. Amiolemen Osagie Marcus is happily married and bless with three lovely children.
